Supporting our regional operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your day-to-day will involve organisational work, data processing, analysis, proposal completion and ensuring data is secure. Naturally, you'll need an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And that means there's plenty to do in our Regional Administration team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced personal assistant to join the Store Operations team in the Cardiff Office, your main responsibility will be administrative support / Personal Assistant duties as required to the Store Operations Directors.

Your core responsibilities and duties will also include assisting the wider team of Store Operations Assistants, Area Managers and Directors with ad-hoc requests. You will have to show resilience in times of high workload throughput as workload does jump and dip between the weeks/months/quarters.

**Your New Role**
- Ensures the security of any documentation and electronic data in the area of responsibility.
- Maintains appropriate backups and logs for data in the area of responsibility.
- Maintains an efficient and well organised filing system for the department.
- Ensures that all documentation in the area of responsibility is archived orderly for the correct period and arranges its disposal at the end of the archive period.
- Trains other employees where appropriate.
- Ensures that the workstation and surrounding area is well organised.
- Ensures that all communal areas are kept in appropriate condition.
- Works in accordance with the ALDI GB & IE Code of Conduct.

**About You**
- Able to work through problems systematically and have an ability to sift through lots of information and data to be able to pinpoint incorrect or erroneous outputs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Being able to communicate appropriately at all levels within the business, across multiple regions as well as external stake holders
- An ability to work independently within a fast-paced department to manage own workload and ensure completion of all tasks within remit in a timely manner.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage time
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a significant workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving department
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
- Excellent IT skill, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

**What You’ll get in Return**
- Salary details £35,775 rising to £41,460
- 18 month Fixed Term Contract
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
