At Brixworth Day Nursery a children's day nursery located at the very heart of the busy rural village of Brixworth, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team of professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality care and education to children in our nursery, aged 6 months to 4 years.
- Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, ensuring a balance between structured learning and free play.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating their achievements to parents or guardians.
- Follow and implement safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.

**Requirements**:

- For qualified nursery practitioners: Possess a recognised early childhood education qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to provide individualised support to each child.
