**Communications Officer**
- Location: Chilterns Conservation Board Office (CCB) Chinnor
- Benefits: Excellent package including local authority pension and access to healthcare scheme
- Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 37.5 Per week
- Reports to: Communications Manager
- Responsible for: No line management, Contracts and consultants on an occasional basis

**About the role**

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team in a pivotal role working in one of the country’s finest and most high-profile protected landscapes. The post-holder will work with the Communications team to deliver engaging and informative content that will increase enjoyment and understanding of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), educate audiences to care for and conserve the landscape, and raise the profile of the Chilterns Conservation Board (CCB) as it grows in size and ambition.

This is an exciting time to join the CCB. We are one of the largest AONBs and on the doorstep of London. We care for, conserve and enhance our precious landscape, working with local authorities, Non-Governmental Organisations, other AONB teams and a host of other partners.
