**Are you an ATT qualified Tax Assistant looking for a highly flexible, mostly remote, role? Our client is a small family friendly practice seeking a new team member to support their tax compliance work.**

**Our Client**

Our Client is a small and successful accountancy firm which was set up in 2008 by an industry Tax expert. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a qualified tax assistant to support tax compliance work.

**The Role**

Core responsibilities include the annual compliance for a personal tax portfolio of clients (sole traders, buy to let landlords, HNW entrepreneurs and non-doms). Potentially there is scope for ad hoc advice around Employee Share Schemes, Capital Gains issues (including marital dispute) and Family Trusts.
- A qualified tax professional (minimum ATT)
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Exceptionally strong written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
- A keen problem-solver with the ability and willingness to take ownership & resolve issues
- Have the ability to be flexible and to thrive in a hardworking team
- Be results driven and highly motivated
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Have experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Have high integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.

- Team-player and self-starter with an enthusiastic and positive outlook
- Methodical and organised approach to work with exceptional attention to detail

**Terms**
- The role is seeking Circa 20 hrs/wk on a permanent part-time basis.
- A salary of between £25k-£40K FTE* is on offer depending on experience.
- The role is mainly remote with occasional (monthly) visits to the office based in Tring, Herts.
- *full time equivalent - actual salary will depend on hours worked._

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week
