Job Summary:
Duties
1-To provide safe high quality education and care for all children in the setting following the sessional plans.
2- To carry out the duties of setting up & tidying away at the end of the session
3- To act as a key worker to a small number of children, liaising closely with parents/carers to ensure that each child’s needs are recognised and met.
4- To be responsible for an identified section of the room. Ensuring it is safe, clean and well stocked with age appropriate and suitable materials
5- To be aware of the differing developmental levels of the children & to offer an appropriate level of support & stimulation
6- To attend staff meetings and training courses as and when required
7- To maintain the strictest confidence in all aspects of Pre-School.
8- To support & assist other staff in the team in their duties within the setting.
9 - To be aware of and adhere to the policies and procedures of the setting.
10- To advise the Pre-School Manage or Deputy Manager of any concerns regarding children, parents/carers, equipment etc.
11- Any other duties delegated by the Pre-School Manager or deputy manager.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in childcare is advantageous
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £11.88 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
