We are a dynamic and ever-changing organisation with new services and teams regularly coming on board. As such we are seeking to recruit 6 dedicated **Support Workers** to join our Low Level Support Service team working at Citizens Advice Mid Mercia (2 North East Derbyshire / 2 Chesterfield / 2 Bolsover) with the primary aim of providing short-term, targeted support (not personal care) to individuals, focusing on maintaining their independence in their own homes.

We are looking for individuals who:

- _Have excellent communication skills _
- _Can manage own time effectively with a keen eye for detail_
- _Can monitor and maintain own standards ensuring work is accurate_
- _Have worked in a public-facing role_
- _Are experienced in working with a diverse range of people and providing a welcoming environment for clients_
- _Are in possession of a full driving licence and use of a car, or otherwise able to fulfil the travel requirements necessary_

**Responsibilities / Key Tasks**:

- _Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities_
- _To maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in undertaking all areas of responsibilities_
