**Job Description - Service Advisor**

**Introduction**:An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate experienced Service Advisor to join our North City team. Established for over 35 years, we pride ourselves in achieving and delivering very high standards when working together with our partners, Mitsubishi and KGM. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a customer focussed, fast-paced environment.

**Job title**:Service Advisor

**Department**: Service Department

**Location**: North City, Chingford, London E4 6AN

**Hours of Work**: Full time position, working Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm. Also, every other Saturday 9am to 1pm.

**Salary Band**: Between £28k - £32k, depending on experience.

**Responsibilities**:
The main responsibilities of a Service Advisor are listed below, however this list is not exhaustive:

- Delivering an exceptional standard of customer service by building lasting, memorable relationships with customers.
- Welcoming customers and explaining the services that we provide at North City.
- Identifying and offering the most appropriate services to meet their individual needs.
- Listening to customers and accurately documenting customers’ vehicle needs.
- Liaising with customers to schedule appointments.
- Working efficiently alongside the parts departments to check availability of parts.
- Consulting with the Technicians about vehicle diagnostics / repairs.
- Keeping customers fully informed of progress and advise of extra work needed.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services to maximise sales.
- Invoicing work on time and accurately processing payments.
- Keeping accurate records at all times using the Data Management System and other systems.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling all data in line with GDPR.
- Recognising when a customer might benefit from speaking with the sales team to upgrade their vehicle.

**Job Requirements**:
For this role you will have the following:

- Experience of working on a service desk within the automotive industry.
- A great eagerness to learn and passion for our brand.
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to deliver consistently high standards of customer service whilst maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- A logical, methodical and organised approach to your workload.
- Excellent administration and IT skills.
- A current full UK driving licence.
- A smart and presentable attire.
