Collective’s ambition is to ensure that every student on one of its programmes develops the necessary skills to have a sustainable career within the acting profession and/or related creative industries upon graduation.

In line with the overarching mission of the organisation, we prioritise ensuring that those professional skills are taught, not only to an excellent level, but also through an inclusion curriculum that celebrates the identity and heritage of our diverse student body. In practice this means ensuring diversity in terms the practitioners, texts, music and other learning resources that are studied - and in the skilled fredelance staff team selected to deliver them.

As Head of Film and Television, you will take leadership for delivering these ambitions and priorities in relation to the Film and Television curriculum. In particular, in consultation with the Student Welfare Officer, you make certain, through necessary differentiation where required, that your area of the curriculum is accessible to disabled students, and that these students are fully integrated into the training.

Collective is an actor-training company. Our business is driven by our mission and our values. Fundamentally, we believe that our society is unfair - and that many of its key institutions are structured in ways that advantage certain groups over others. We think that is wrong and needs to change. So, our mission is to increase access for students from groups who have traditionally been underrepresented within the performing arts industry - specifically in terms of ethnicity, disability and class. We aspire to play a key role in rebalancing society, by training the actors, story-tellers and artistic leaders of the future who - through the stories they will go on to tell - can help reshape our cultural and social consciousness. As storytellers have the power to change the world.

We provide actor-training courses. These fall into four categories:

- Full-Time Drama School
- Part-Time Drama School
- Short Courses for Professional Actors
- Youth Academy

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

Pay: £38,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Company pension
- On-site parking

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
