- Do you have detailed knowledge of the different forms of construction and an understanding of complex latent defects issues?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Latent Defects Clerk of Works on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.

**A bit about the role**:
As a Latent Defects Clerk of Works, you will oversee the quality management during the resolution of latent defects, helping to ensure that works are carried out in a safe and timely manner, in accordance with contract documents.

Some of the key results for the role include:

- Liaise with Employers Agents, Contractors, Residents, internal colleagues, manufacturers and the like to achieve the objectives of the role and organisation
- Ensuring that escalations are made to the appropriate person within the contract.
- Visiting and inspecting works during construction and after completion and ensuring that defects are identified and remedied at the earliest opportunity, to prevent latent defects at later stages.
- Reviewing O&M files, as built drawings, specifications, warranties and contracts as required to assist with defect diagnosis and the evaluation of options for remedying defects.
- Liaising with residents to ensure a smooth defect experience and resulting in high levels of satisfaction around defect resolution.
- This role will require a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle._
- A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required._
