Ascot hosts around 600,000 racegoers a year across 26 race days, 300,000 of whom come to the five days of Royal Ascot. Royal Ascot capacity can reach an attendance of 75,000 on a day. Ascots conference and events business welcomes a further 200,000 customers a year outside racing.

Ascot aims to offer its racegoers something for everyone who wishes to be involved, and Royal Ascots offerings reflect this through the entry level Windsor picnic enclosure, the mid-tier Village enclosure, the central Queen Anne Enclosure and ultimately the Royal Enclosure. And incorporating up to 7000 racegoers in a wide range of private box and restaurant fine dining facilities.

**ROLE**

Were looking for someone with video production and editing experience with an unwavering passion for social media content that engages audiences and demonstrates ROI. This role will be taking charge of multiple projects that deliver content to support Ascots racing events including Royal Ascot as well as the venues wider B2B events and work in the community. This role is varied and fast-paced and its essential you are naturally inquisitive and able to bring to life the endless stories and content opportunities that this exciting business presents. From world-class horse racing to couture fashion, Michelin star dining to charity projects in the community the breadth of opportunity to learn and thrive is there for a keen self-starter who is excited by the world of content.

The Digital Content & Social Media Executive will play a key role within the marketing department, working primarily with the Social Media & Digital Content Manager to ensure brand content across owned channels is engaging and delivering on overall marketing objectives. The role will also support the wider marketing teams operations, including supporting the capture and delivery of social media and event content.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day capture and creation and editing of video content that tells the Ascot brand story and delivers against the departments KPIs
- Including on racedays throughout the year with some weekend working required time off in lieu is given where applicable
- Assisting both internal and external stakeholders with footage requests, as well as maintaining and optimising Ascot's extensive archive of footage
- Support across Ascots social channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) to support the in-house and agency delivery of the social strategy
- Assisting with reporting on social activity, delving into what works and how our content can be optimised
- Working with the wider Marketing team to deliver new initiatives across digital platforms to help reach wider objectives OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working alongside content agency to develop new ideas and grow audiences
- Supporting the wider content team with the testing and delivery of new website features
- Supporting with content output for social media and other channels, including on Racedays
- Supporting the marketing team with reporting and insights for the website, app and social media
- Managing the social media inboxes and responding to queries as appropriate
- Such other duties as the Company may, at times, reasonably require SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience shooting video content for both broadcast (landscape) and social media usage (vertical)
- Strong knowledge of video editing software
- Experience of working with a Content Management system(s)
- Excellent eye for detail and a flair for creating digital content
- Organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable, dynamic and quick thinking with a flexible approach
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high quality output
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- A solid understanding of and enthusiasm for social media
- A passion for learning new things
- A true team player
- Knowledge of sport and/or horse racing desired
