**Job Title**: Personal Assistant / Carer

**Responsible to**: Directly accountable to and taking direction from the employer and the employer’s representative

**Hours**: Up to 40 hours a week (potentially a job share between 2 PA’s) - Variable working hours

**Work Pattern**: Variable working shifts

**Hourly Rate of Pay**: £13.00 per hour

**Based at**: Employer’s own home in Shropshire.

**Job Purpose**:Ongoing daily support for the employer.

To support with:

- Getting out of bed in the morning
- Rehabilitation e.g. exercises and stretches
- Meal prep & supervising (the gentleman will require full support with breakfasts, lunches)
- Light household tasks such as cleaning, changing the bed, changing the toilet bag etc
- Toileting
- Bed Bath
- Computer Work
- To report any issues to the gentleman’s partner
- To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.

**Personal Specification**
- Flexible in the hours and times that you can work.
- Have a good sense of humour and enjoy a friendly joke.
- You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to undergo any training highlighted by the employer.
- You should have some knowledge and understanding of risks.
- Have an awareness and knowledge of equal opportunities.
