**Technical Support Manager - Electrical Background**

**Location: Birmingham**

**Hours: Monday to Friday**

**Salary: £37.5K**

**Introduction to the company**

We are currently partnered with a growing EV installation company who have the views to bringing their own product to market over the next couple of years. They have one goal, to make EV charging simpler and more accessible than ever before. They are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Technical Support Manager. As our Technical Support Manager you'll be providing expert support on product and installation related enquiries, liaising closely with our network of installers and our 3rd party app provider. Your focus will be on making complex matters super simple, prioritizing what truly matters to our customers and pursuing ways to do things better.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Offer expert, accessible technical support to our customers, reflecting our commitment to simplicity and value.
- Liaise effectively with our network of installers and 3rd party app provider, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement of processes.
- Build and manage an extensive technical support database and an electric vehicle database, making complex technical information easy to understand and readily available for our customers and team.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Lead, digital, and other departments to enhance the overall customer experience, always seeking ways to do better.
- Analyse and respond to customer interactions and feedback to inform and improve our product and service strategies.
- Support building a market leading range by providing technical analysis, opinion and feedback on potential new product(s).
- Stay updated on the latest developments in EV technology and charging solutions, sharing this knowledge with our team and customers.

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Proven experience in a technical support role, with a track record of leadership and team development.
- Strong experience liaising with external partners such as suppliers, installers, contractors, and app providers.
- Technical proficiency in data management and database creation.
- A customer-first mentality that aligns with our core values of simplicity, value, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in the electric vehicle (EV) industry is highly desirable but not necessary.

**Salary**: Up to £37,500.00 per year
