The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Learning Mentor to work at St Anne’s Church Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us. This role will be working 30 hours per week, TTO.

This is a temporary position.

**What you will do**:

- Be able to work within a learning framework set by the Principal, provide support for all children and especially disadvantaged children by removing barriers to their learning and ensuring that they have equality of access to opportunities to develop to their full potential.
- To act as an integral part of the school staff team and work closely with the SENCo and Principal to mentor and coach children.
- To champion the personal growth and academic achievement of all Pupil Premium funded children and vulnerable learners.
- Make a contribution to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures, and maintain a range of effective networks and partnerships.
- Contribute to the school-wide management of behaviour with all children and especially those who, at times, struggle in school.
- Will have GCSE Grade C or above in English (Literacy) and Maths (Numeracy) or numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2. Training in relevant learning and SEN strategies.
- Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning.
- Able to be self-motivated with a desire to improve own practice/knowledge through self-evaluation and working with others.
