We are looking for an experienced and curious Head of Marketing, with strategic vision, to lead our clients Home Shopping marketing team to develop and execute effective on and offline marketing strategies. Our clients own Home Shopping is multi-brand / multi-channel mail order, established for over 30 years, selling quality mature ladies and men's clothing over 4 brands. 30% of our revenues come online, with the remainder via telephone and post. Approximately 25% of our revenues come from off the page advertising

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and articulate a strategic plan for customer acquisition and retention.
- Translate the strategic plan into an executable marketing roadmap.
- Lead and manage a team to deliver against the budgeted plan you created.
- Monitor and measure your daily performance against the budget and previous year.
- Use customer segmentation to obtain the optimum response from your contact strategies using the most cost-effective forms of communication.
- Flex your plan to react to market insights.
- Use modern techniques including AI to improve processes and gain greater insight into customer behaviour.
- Use data to judge effectively which marketing decisions are likely to add value and boost customer engagement/response.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders alongside 3rd party relationships with print, post, media, and photographic agencies.

**Requirements**:

- Significant experience of customer acquisition, preferably B2C.
- Experience in developing and articulating a strategic plan for customer acquisition and retention. Creating and managing advertising campaigns would be advantageous.
- Experience in leading and managing a team to deliver against the budgeted plan you created.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills both on and offline.
- Experienced in how to naturally optimise the websites and guide the team in the delivery to reduce the dependence of paid digital advertising.
- Ability to make sense of complex problems quickly with the ability to turn data into simple actions without paralysis by analysis.
- Ability to flex your plan to react to market insights.
- Experience using customer segmentation to obtain the optimum response from your contact strategies using the most cost-effective forms of communication.
- Ability to use modern techniques including AI to improve processes and gain greater insight into customer behaviour.
- Ability to use data to judge effectively which marketing decisions are likely to add value and boost customer engagement/response.
- Extremely well organised and deadline driven, with the ability to plan and juggle multiple concurrent timelines in a fast-paced environment, coping well under pressure.
- Strong self-starter: intellectually curious with a can-do attitude who is not afraid to get your hands dirty and lead by example.
- Experienced in creating and delivering paid social campaigns comprising acquisition, brand awareness, and for organic amplification.
- Ability to create and manage campaigns across paid activities in the Google & Bing Advertising Suites (search, programmatic) as well as challenge 3rd party suppliers of these services.
- Ideally you will have experience of offline advertising in national press and publications.
