The Credit Solutions business sits within Global Financing and Credit Trading (GFCT). The business has a broad mandate that covers trading and underwriting of complex/ illiquid credit risk, originating and risk managing of loans against a range of esoteric assets and providing financing to clients via structured repos. Also responsible for providing investors yield enhancement opportunities via the illiquid flows/ structured products it originates or trades.

In this role you will focus on the Structured Credit Trading desks. The Structured Credit Trading (SCT) team is the trading arm within this complex, which acts as a market maker in complex structured and illiquid credit products. It is a market leading franchise with global operations centred on teams in London and Frankfurt.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Act as a market maker in structured and illiquid credit products including repacks, credit-linked notes (CLNs), bonds, structured notes, and non-vanilla credit default swaps (CDS) products
- Work with the private placement desk to originate and place corporate bonds
- Provide hedging solutions to third party banks
- Work closely with the salesforce to distribute risk and promote the franchise with clients
- Risk managing positions and identifying new trading & financing opportunities

**Your skills and experience**
- Knowledge of products relating to structured credit trading including repack, cash bonds, CLN and exotics
- Relationships with Institutional Clients, ideally with structured credit focus
- Detailed knowledge of credit, credit liquidity, credit pricing
- A detail orientated nature, with a consistent desire for self-education and development
- Experience of working within a fixed Income market-making business
