You will sit within the European (EU) Credit Derivatives Trading desk in London. The desk’s main activity comprises market making and carrying inventory of Index credit default swaps (CDS), Index Options and Single Name CDS.

The Desk primarily trades with large institutional investors.

The desk is looking for someone to take on trading responsibilities in the CDS space. The aim is for you to start trading as soon as you can tackle the challenge. You will have direct contact with the salesforce, promote the franchise, run positions and identify value through education in the various products, systems and market practice.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Pricing, trading and risk managing a CDS Book
- Taking responsibility for providing liquidity and recycling risk profitably
- Taking responsibility for developing and enhancing the European Flow Credit franchise
- Analysing market structure and the opportunities and threats there-in
- Managing financial risk and non-financial risks
- Interacting with clients, sales and internal counterparties in other trading, coverage and structuring functions to increase market transparency and to generate new business

**Your skills and experience**
- Previous relevant experience in CDS trading in London, preferred
- Knowledge of credit, credit liquidity, credit pricing and the European Client Base
- A detail orientated nature, with a consistent desire for self-education and development
- Displaying innovation as part of a market-leading team and developing the business/franchise
