Apollo Home Healthcare are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and would like to work in role where you are making a difference to their day-to-day life.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a 9-year-old boy who lives at home with mum in Stockport and requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.

He is generally a happy and cheerful boy who loves lots of interaction, having fun, and socialising with his family, friends, and care team.

Please note our ideal care team will be pet friendly as he shares his home with his friendly pet dog.

At home he enjoys playing on his IPAD, watching TikTok videos, films, and exploring with arts and crafts activities. He loves day trips out and exploring the outdoors with his family and friends.

Throughout the day he does attend school which he loves and thrives along with his day care team.

Your role throughout the night will include being vigilant, making close observations, attending to his clinical, personal care needs and repositioning needs as required. You will also provide comfort and offer reassurance when required to promote a peaceful environment and a restful night’s sleep.

He is a chatty young boy who loves to express his wants and needs and is looking for an outgoing and friendly care team who he can have a chat with and share fun memories.

**We are currently offering a welcome bonus of £150 for this position** **T&C apply**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience supporting children
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG Feeding
- Ventilation Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights 2 Shifts per week
- 7.15pm-7.30am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weeknights £14.00 per hour Approx. £175 per 12.5 hour shift

Saturday £14.50 per hour Approx. £181.25 per 12.5 hour shift

Sunday £15.00 per hour Approx. £187.50 per 12.5 hour shift

Bank Holiday £17.50 per hour Approx. £218.25 per 12.5 hour shift

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family.

It is incredibly important to us that we reward and recognise the commitment and dedication of our healthcare staff, as they are at the forefront of the services we deliver for our clients.

We have developed an industry-leading reward and recognition scheme that we are extremely proud of which offers minimum pay rates from **£14.00 per hour in this area** and a fantastic loyalty reward scheme. Rewarding at months 6 and 12 and entered into quarterly prize draws.
