My Client, are currently recruiting for a Service Receptionist for their car workshop based in Kings Langley for a temporary to permanent role on a full time basis.

Duties include -- Is first point of contact for all callers and visitors and communicates in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner at all times.
- Answers all incoming calls and directs caller to appropriate individual or takes a thorough message that is passed on immediately.
- Calls customers to provide status updates and to arrange drop-off and collection of vehicles.
- Greets service customers during the morning and evening service rush; ensures smooth drop off/collection of vehicles, making sure all documentation prior to collection is completed (online service record updated, customer information record updated andrecords payment etc).
- Handle customer complaints and refer them to the appropriate individual/unit for resolution
- Maintains a busy scheduling system used to book vehicles in and out.
- Creates job sheets and invoices.
- Orders office supplies / car parts.
- Responsible for daily filing (service repair orders, parts tickets, car files etc) and ensuring online service records are maintained and updated in a timely manner.
- Responsible for receiving payments (cash, cheques, and credit card payments) from customers and document the amount received on the repair order and other documentation as may be required.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Keeps reception/customer area clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensures the Workshop remains compliant in all matters of health
- Knowledge of the car industry and workshop elements
- Administration experience
- Excellent Customer Service
- Previous experience in Microsoft Office
