**Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst**

**Location: Hybrid - home working with visits to BCA Hook**

**Salary: Up to £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance and 10% Bonus**

**Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday**

**The Role**

The Product Business Analyst is a key strategic role and will be responsible for bridging the gap between strategy/product vision and execution. The role acts as the glue that binds various aspects of BCA’s strategy, product design, technology, and solutionsecosystem. The Product Business Analyst will focus mainly on using Salesforce and will collaborate with the wider IT department and other areas of BCA to support the delivery of market leading digital products and services.

The Product Business Analyst is matrix managed and will be involved at the earliest stages of the product development cycle across a range of products. He/She will work as matched pair with Product Owners deep-diving on problems and providing options onways to progress the product evolution. The role also plays a key role on the Product Quarterly Planning sessions supporting the refinement of the product backlog and ensures that requirements identified at the discovery stages are clear and well written stories.

This role works closely with the Product leadership and other senior leaders of the business to ensure that new products and features are well defined and that solutions are delivering valuable outcomes for BCA and its customers. The Product Business Analystshould be comfortable talking to senior executives about business matters, the marketplace and competition, as well as; to the development team about user stories.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Product Development and Delivery**
- Works with Product Director and Salesforce Head of Product to provide Strategic and Technical Product direction for BCA products and interactions and integration with Salesforce
- Educates business leaders and the wider business on how our Salesforce can be utilised to expand and leverage the multi-service automotive value chain
- Drive the best customer experience and journey through our digital platforms, to ensure a seamless and frictionless experience
- Use analysis techniques to build and maintain shared understanding between the team and stakeholders
- Proactively work with colleagues from across the business in identifying integration impacts, dependencies and efficiencies across multiple areas of the business
- Ensure user/business needs are met by the products and features developed
- Supporting the product development and innovation process with analysis of the requirements, scope and business case for new products and strategic initiatives
- Actively work with the Product Teams on the delivery of the product backlog by providing input into the definition and prioritization of requirements so that teams have clarity on what needs to be produced
- Collaborate with Salesforce Product Owners to understand customer needs and support the discovery and solutions design process
- Supports the product owners by helping them analyse the business domain, stocking the product backlog, and grooming the product backlog
- Gain deep knowledge of BCA’s systems and processes and act as SME for Salesforce within the product team.
- Ability to support teams with writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Good understanding of Kanban methodologies

**Leadership and Communication**
- Operating within a matrix managed structure and a wide range of stakeholders, the role requires a high degree of influencing capability
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally. With the confidence to challenge, convince and manage multiple stakeholders within technology and business functions across a range of seniorities, experience and knowledge both within andexternal to BCA.
- Work with the commercial/operations team, ensure understanding & compliance of the product delivery to agreed outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on product professional, who has worked in Agile product teams to deliver end-to-end products integrated with Salesforce
