Structural Inspector

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of sites to ensure structural integrity is met, and to highlight area where it is failing.
- Liase closely with clients to provide on-going advice following the completion and submission of the report.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Conduct final inspections to verify the completion and standard of structural remedial works.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in structural inspection or a related field is required. A degree in Civil or Structural engineering would be advantageous, but verifiable on-site experience and relevant further education will be taken as equal.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential structural issues beyond obvious defects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Knowledge of regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a varying-paced environment.
- Safety qualifications such as IOSH would be advantageous.
The job involves both on-site working and working from home. You will be expected to visit various sites around South Wales to carry out structural inspections with the reporting being completed from the house. Radius pay will be provided over a certain distance from your registered home address.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
