Global Media Agency are looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst with excellent excel and communication skills to join their growing team on a Temp to Perm basis.

With offices spanning the globe they are shaping decisions and experiences through media, content, and technology.

The main purpose of the Senior Revenue Analyst role is to report revenue in an accurate and timely manner, requiring detailed variance analysis and exception reporting and Liaising with various commercial and business heads. To be successful in this role,engagement with various parts of the business is required, often at different levels of seniority.

Key responsibilities:
**Month-end process**
- Managing the month-end reporting process from start to finish, meeting deadlines and providing commentary on variances against forecast
- Compile and report the monthly revenue recognised on each client
- Investigate any variances between forecasted and actual revenue reported on a monthly basis
- Provide support and back-up to Client Leads and Commercial Team
- Managing monthly Revenue postings
- Reviewing accruals and ensuring that there are no accruals over 90 days
- Providing Group M FP&A team with the Revenue Forecast and Budget submissions, along with full commentary
- Monthly Revenue Balance sheet Reconciliations for Accruals and Deferrals
- Coordinating and collating the monthly business forecast from client leadership team and product specialists
- Supplying management information (MI) and insight to the Senior Leadership Team
- Reviewing our Revenue Controls and SOX compliance
- Understanding clients and the terms under which they operate, including remuneration structures
- Assisting with Internal Audits, External Audits and Client Audits.
- Management and control of Client Reconciliation
- Working with commercial analyst to ensure fees and cost are charged correctly
- Ensuring intercompany transactions are completed with relevant PO’s and approvals
- Provide key revenue reports to Client accountant and Commercial Director
- Hold monthly revenue reviews with senior management.

**Reporting**
- Liaise with EMEA to resolve reporting queries
- Submit commentaries to EMEA on a monthly basis
- Deal with EMEA’s new reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit quarterly packages
- Prepare and submit the year-end packages

**Business Forecast**:

- Collect and compile monthly billing and revenue forecast of Client Leads and Product Specialist
- Manage the flow of information between Client Leads and Product Specialists to ensure that all parties are aligned
- Provide monthly MI to Senior Leadership Team, including variance analysis channel spend forecast, trend analysis
- Work closely with FP&A team to reconcile forecasts with actual delivery - ensuring that contractual terms are reflected in actual billing
- Liaise with Commercial Team ensure that fees are invoiced to terms of contract
- Understand and explain the breakdown of centralised fees between various product areas / departments

**Business Partnering**
- Business partnering through engagement with business and client leads on a regular basis including face-to-face meetings
- Adding value to operational teams through analysis, reporting etc.

**Other and periodic**
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX requirements
- Continuously reviewing current processes and making improvements to allow better control or improved efficiencies
- Ad hoc projects as directed by senior management

**About you**:
Ideally you will have previous exposure in a similar role within the media / marketing / creative industry with good understanding of Cartesis and Media Ocean software along with an Intermediate / advance level of Excel (knowledge of sumIFs, Pivot tables,VLOOKUP is essential)
