**PURPOSE**:
Purpose:

- To co-ordinate the development and delivery of retrofit skills delivery plans for Net Zero Retrofit training provision at Coventry College, across the WBCA region and nationally across UK.
- Service all commercial contracts which have recently been secured by the College and which may require flexible working and an agile approach.
- Be able to undertake a mapping exercise of all current and planned Green Skills provision across the college’s emerging Green Skills agenda.
- Represent, promote and engage with retrofit organisations and professional bodies as strategic partners for the college to support and raise awareness of the Retrofit Skills & Training options to guide the College through the transition to Net Zero emissions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Act as the first point of contact within Coventry College representing and co-ordinating the College’s response to Green Skills development and delivery.
- Develop and present an overview Skills Plan of the college's provision to support the net-zero skills agenda over the short, medium and longer term.
- In conjunction with the college's Strategic Employer Engagement and Sales Team provide advice and support to SMEs with on-going Retrofit Developments.
- Engage with Senior Leaders, Curriculum and the Strategic Employer Engagement & Sales Team and Revamp Training Ltd to help develop effective relationships and communication channels to facilitate the secure transfer of retrofit industrial knowledge to inform the sector’s response.
- Work with the college's Strategic Employer Engagement and Sales Team, JCP and Revamp Training Ltd to establish effective networks with external low carbon and retrofit stakeholders, agencies, industry, regulators, employers and awarding bodies to inform, guide and shape the retrofit sector’s Net Zero Insulation response plan.
- Organise and facilitate regional and national retrofit engagement events that bring strategic stakeholders together for the college to promote and disseminate a sector wide understanding of the Net Zero Insulation and the Green Skills agenda.
- Keep abreast of political, social and economic developments in respect of low carbon initiatives ensuring effective dissemination of data, plans and labour market intelligence across the West Midlands to inform skills and curriculum planning.
- Promote and support the attendance, engagement and awareness raising of news, activity and consultation events relating to Net Zero Insulation and the Green Skills agenda.
- Identify and disseminate case-studies of sector leading practice where Coventry College is working collaboratively with the Retrofit Industry partners on the development of green skills and retrofit provision.
- Produce progress reports to inform strategic stakeholders working with Coventry College.
- Assist in developing a sector wide business case to secure funding and grants to support the development of Sustainable Low Carbon Training Solutions.
- Assist in identifying potential green skills expertise to support the further development of the Spray Foam Green Skills Boot Camp.
- Participate in relevant training and development as required.
- Work with line manager to identify training needs and actively seek out relevant training and development opportunities.
- Participate in the College's appraisal process.
- Ensure the College's equality policies are encompassed within all aspects of work.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable groups you may come into contact with during your employment at Coventry College.
