Ross Ceramics is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rolls-Royce group, part of Rolls-Royce Turbines Operating Business Unit, and we manufacture precision ceramic cores that form part of the investment casting process.

In this role, you will support the leadership team. This requires a wide range of skills to ensure delivery to our customers and drive lean improvement through great engagement with our talented people. You will be accountable for HS&E, quality, and delivery within the Operations team.

What you will be doing:
You will support the Operations leadership team who play a critical role in delivering to our customers. You will work collaboratively across a wide range of functions and be responsible for integrating their activities to deliver on time every time, to the right quality and cost. You will:
- Communicate, lead, and inspire so that our teams can achieve their full potential.- Deliver the customer requirement through engagement with the works team.- Ensuring that quality is at the heart of the way we operate, and that the importance of compliance is reflected in how we work.- Ensuring that our people go home safely every day, by driving compliance to our health and safety standards as well as assessing and proactively managing risk.- Embracing Lean leadership behaviours to drive day-to day improvement activity like 5S and longer-term lean projects to enable continuous improvement in performance and the way we operate.- Working in multiple areas with different teams to deliver cross functional KPI-s at a cell level.

Who we are looking for:

Ideally experience of working on transformation projects and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma and lean.- Experience delivering improved manufacturing performance in both favourable and unfavourable conditions, utilizing cross-functional teams.- Demonstrating ability to respond at pace, to changing demands through robust planning and control methodology.
