Based at Avery Dennison, Cramlington, you will help to achieve a Knowledge Transfer Partnership’s objectives to equip the company with the knowledge and capability for valorisation of plastic waste streams, by developing new approaches and procedures for the recovery of chemicals that can be used to produce new polymer materials.

The KTP Associate will be an employee of Newcastle University but will spend most of their working time at the company’s premises at Nelson Way, Nelson Park, East Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 1JR and when required at Newcastle University depending upon the project’s objectives. Although the contract is fixed term for a duration of 20 months, more than 70% of KTP staff are made a permanent job offer by their KTP company.
