**Shift Patterns Available:
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 (Alternative Saturdays 07:00 - 12:00)**

**Or**

**4 Day Working Week - Rotating between Monday & Saturday**

**PAYE Rate: £35,000 - £40,000 p/a**

Igloo has a fantastic, permanent opportunity for a Senior Technician to work in Avonmouth for a family run business.

**The Role**:
As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting a team of technicians, assisting with any mechanical or technical questions, while helping them carry out the servicing of a huge variety of car makes and models.
- Reporting directly to the workshop controller, you’ll help them to motivate and keep the team to targets, and in their absence, you’ll organise workload amongst the team and maintain day to day operations.
- You’ll accurately confirm the repair work carried out on every vehicle using a tablet.
- And you’ll performing fault diagnosis; quality check work where required.
- You’ll identify potential hazards and keep to a high standard of health and safety, monitoring the condition of tools and machinery.
- And will be responsible for the workshop, ensuring it is kept clean, tidy and well organised.

**What kind of person we are looking for?**:

- Must hold a Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repairs and/or be a time served vehicle technician
- You must hold a current full UK driving licence
- Must own a stocked toolbox
- MOT (IMI accredited) qualification would be advantageous but not necessary
- Availability to work on a rota basis, including Saturdays
- Keen eye for detail
- Must be able to work well within a team
- Problem solving skills
