**About the Trust**

The Royal Oldham hospital is located close to the town centre and is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on-site parking (fees will apply). It has an onsite cafe and restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospitalalso has on site shops.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Responsible for the safe keeping and availability of all clinical records relating to patients
- Smooth running of the ward/ department office
- Provide general assistance to the ward/ unit staff
- General admin duties: filing, scanning and photocopying

**You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
**You'll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous administrative experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- NHS System Knowledge
- PAS, Patient Centre, Evolve (desirable)
- Experience within the NHS (desirable)
