Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an Application Support Lead Apprentice with ELMS Aviation, an Aviation Engineering Company based near Exeter Airport.

You will be joining a close-knit team at an exciting time, where the business has established a solid product and significant/notable customer base. As an Application Support Lead Apprentice you will work closely with both the Product Support and Software Development teams, making tangible contributions to the growing and ongoing success of the business.

ELMS Aviation is seeking a skilled Application Support Lead Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to start a career in the digital aviation industry and be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of**:

- Assist with the maintenance and testing of software systems, including testing new features and bug fixes, and performing system upgrades and patches.
- Document support processes and procedures and create knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including conducting user training sessions and creating training materials.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals and initiatives.
- Support the customer onboarding journey, to include data migration/upload.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A customer-focused attitude and ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Experience with customer service or technical support is a plus.
- A desire to learn and develop new skills.

- Capable of working independently when required.
- Good team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

**Training to be provided**:
Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 Application Support Lead with training in how to:
