Eden Brown Synergy are pleased to be working with a South West London Local Authority who have a vacancy in there Social Care Procurement Team for a Senior Procurement Officer

You will be working for an ambitious, forward-thinking London Borough with a substantial growth and regeneration agenda. To help them achieve their ambitions, they have set up a new Commissioning, Commercial and Contracts Department, a team that brings together these related skills to work together more effectively.

This opportunity will offer you the chance to join a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to transforming its business and improving outcomes for residents and driving improved value for money. They have a modern working environment for their staff allowing you to work flexibly whilst on the move.

For this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in procurement, within a Social Care environment, which has covered the end-to-end tendering process. Your experience will ideally be from the public sector, and you will be politically astute and able to build high levels of credibility.

You will have strong stakeholder management skills able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences at varying levels and be able to make an impact quickly.

Ideally you will have completed or be working towards a degree or relevant professional qualification, preferably Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
