We are a renowned Tier 1 automotive supplier based in W-s-M, with a customer base including several major Automotive manufacturers.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with the addition of an experienced team leader, working on the shop floor in a busy production environment.

The purpose of the role is to support and cover for the Production Manager, and other Cell Leader role, to ensure that the manufacturing unit is meeting its customer delivery date and providing high quality product to meet the customer’s specification in accordance with the production schedule.

The role is unit specific with the expectation that the Team Leader progresses / develops through to full Cell Leader capability. The role should provide leadership and direction to team members and will be expected to directly oversee the immediate team members in a hands-on role.

There is an expectation that the Team Leader will lead or facilitate a number of business improvement projects being championed by the Production Manager or Operations Director - Continuous Improvement projects, Training levels, & Process Instructions will be the remit of the assigned ‘Quality Technician’

**Skills / Experience**
- An understanding of production assembly methods, process tools and techniques, specifically engine, transmission and final drive products;
- Previous considerable experience in identifying trends, taking action to accommodate identified changes;
- Strong motivational, coaching and training experience, assertively managing a team using modern operational processes;
- Experience of working within auditable quality accreditation processes, e.g. TS16949;
- Team Leader / Supervisory / Charge-hand or equivalent experience advantageous.
- Experience of working as a practical ‘Hands-on’ semi-skilled production assembly line;
- Experience of implementing practical business improvements at the front line / detail level.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
