The Engagement & Risk Manager will lead the UL/Sky approach in driving the programme of activities to deliver a safer fleet, minimise cost associated with accidents and help protect Sky’s respected brand.
**Engagement & Risk Manager key responsibilities will include:**:

- Creating and managing a Risk Management programme across a 3,000+ van and car fleet.
- Develop training and engagement programmes designed to improve key metrics such as driver safety score and reduction of accidents.
- Develop an overall engagement strategy to educate Sky engineers on safer driving with recommendations for both rewarding excellence and driving compliance
- Utilising a newly installed cloud based telematics and dash cam system to positively influence driving practices
- Management of relationship with telematics partner to meet and exceed key success criteria
- Analysis of telematics data and dashcam footage to drive insight and improvement opportunities
- Engage with field teams and stakeholders via a variety of tools including accessible and intuitive reporting that clearly demonstrates the current and trending performance of their teams and individuals
- Demonstrate the business case to support further rollout of telematics/dashcam solution.
- Manage and co-ordinate the rollout plan of the telematics/dashcam solution to the remainder of the fleet including
- Developing clear timeline and project plan for delivery of the rollout
- Delivering engaging comms to the field management in support of the rollout
- Management of the installation partner.
- Identify and report to senior stakeholders against key safety performance metrics to demonstrate the safety improvements delivered.Ensure all monitoring systems are fully updated and associated insight is issued in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate with Sky Health & Safety to ensure compliance to the appropriate policies and keep up to date with the latest H&S legislation.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends in the maintenance and upkeep of vans to highlight risks and engage in appropriate safety dialogue with field teams.
- Ensure accident, near miss reporting and investigation procedures are completed
- Work with Sky and Sky’s insurers to understand key drivers of insurance costs and implement opportunities to reduce overall cost of Fleet insurance

**Engagement & Risk Manager Requirements:**
- To be able to communicate in an effective and engaging manner to small and large groups and different levels within the organisational structure
- Be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for identifying and delivering improvements in key metrics with the opportunity to define and develop this exciting new role.
- Strong data analysis skills to be able to identify key data trends and insight to drive appropriate actions.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, working in a trusted partnership to deliver outstanding results for Sky.
- Supplier management skills to ensure key suppliers are managed effectively to deliver great performance against key metrics through strong and effective governance.
- Strong IT skills with particular focus on Office and Cloud based technology.
- Able to formulate key steps in a project plan and ongoing governance for delivery against the plan.
- To lead and inspire a small team providing clear guidance on key deliverables and creating a positive and can-do culture for the team members to deliver their best work.
- Operational / Managerial experience in communicating with large field based teams to successfully deliver change and improvement initiatives.

**Hours**: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**Salary**: £43,775.00 per annum
