We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work as Elective Access Clerk in the Dermatology Department. The department sees patients that require Minor Operations for Dermatology, also monitoring partial booking waiting lists & dealing with Consultants & Nurses on a daily basis.

1 x Full time position = 37.5 hrs per week

You will have GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or equivalent

You will be responsible for providing a full, accurate, efficient and effective service to the Dermatology Department with day to day contact with staff at all levels and have regular patient contact over the telephone and face to face. You will monitor patient target lists (PTL’s) and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues and be responsible for ensuring patient pathways are updated and patient admissions and discharges recorded. You will deal with patient queries on a daily basis.

We are looking for a full time enthusiastic, flexible and motivated team player to be part of this dedicated department. The successful applicants must have be patient focused and be able to liaise with staff at all levels.
