**About us**

We are a small social enterprise based in Stockport. We have a core team of four staff who are supported by a number of other delivery partners. We work closely to ensure that we provide the best programmes and services that we can for our customers and beneficiaries.

Our work week is varied - this is not a 9-5 job. There may be some evening and weekend work required, but our flexible working offer means that we can also work around staff needs. Travel will be required for this position
- we deliver programmes in schools across Greater Manchester, along with currently working in Leeds and Blackpool. Travel expenses are reimbursed for work outside of Greater Manchester.

The role of School Delivery Co-Ordinator will see you deliver educational programmes within partner schools across our working network, working with young people from Year 6 up through to Year 13.

Whilst our programme content is already developed, you will be required to complete an element of planning and resourcing for all sessions to ensure that appropriate sessions are delivered to each individual group. You will be able to demonstrate great team working skills and be able to work to collaborate (often remotely) with other members of the PIE team.

Our relationships with partner schools are key to our ongoing success as an organisation. As School Delivery Co-Ordinator, you will take responsibility for managing relationships with schools that we are working with, ensuring that all communications with key school staff are conducted in a timely and professional manner. You will also take on an element of business development within this role which will see you looking to help harness new working relationships with schools and explore additional funding opportunities when required.

You will take on responsibilities for gathering key reporting data for programmes you are delivering, and liaise with other PIE staff to help ensure impact reporting is completed effectively. You will provide other information as required about all projects, for example for weekly blogs and monthly newsletter updates.

You will have a proven record of working with young people within an educational setting and have qualified teacher status. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a range of young people, communicating effectively and delivering high expectations and strong positive outcomes throughout your delivery.

You will be willing to work some evenings and weekends to support our community sessions when needed and to work flexibly during the school week based on the needs of partner schools.

During school holidays you will support in the delivery of our holiday club provision.

You will complete all relevant safeguarding training, go through an enhanced DBS check and agree to work within our company Safeguarding and GDPR policies at all times.

**Essential**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (either Primary or Secondary - there will be a requirement to work with both age groups.) **Applications will not be considered from those without a teaching qualification.**
- Able to travel across the Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire region to different school settings.
- A passion for working to support young people to achieve better educational and life outcomes.
- Experience of working with young people within areas of deprivation, or those who are disaffected, disengaged or vulnerable.
- Excellent communication skills - including an ability to communicate with different stakeholders and in different formats.
- Excellent collabaration and team work skills
- Able to demonstrate personal initiative
- A willingness to work flexibly
- Experience/ qualifications in Safeguarding

Desired:

- A minimum of three years experience of working within schools.
- Experience of working within inner city schools.
- Experience of dealing with numbers and statistics for reporting.
- Lived experience to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Experience of the social enterprise/ VCSE sector
