Health Care Support Worker

**Location**: Worcestershire (on the road) including but not limited to; Worcester, Droitwich, Evesham, Pershore, Malvern, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Kempsey
**Hours**: between 7am - 10pm, **must be available every other weekend**
**Salary**: £12.50 per hour on weekdays, £12.75 per hour on weekends
R & L Healthcare have been awarded a new contract with Worcester County Council and have been re-awarded the End of Life contract
We are looking for people who care to join our team as Health Care Assistants to carry out Domiciliary and Palliative care to vulnerable people through the community in their own homes. In this position you will be supporting our clients with promoting their independence, maintaining their dignity and supporting their well-being. There are many duties that will be undertaken to do this, including:
- Assisting with Personal Hygiene and Care
- Supporting clients with medication
- Assisting with mobility
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Supporting with food when necessary
- Light domestic duties
As we are looking for people who care, qualifications are not required as we will provide free training to support you within this role and begin your career in care. The essentials you’ll need are:
- Good communication skills
- Be reliable and flexible
- Kind, friendly and compassionate manner
- Patience
- **Valid UK Driving Licence and Access to Own vehicle**:
- **Must be able to work every other weekend**
