**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As a Warehouse Operative, you are responsible for performing general warehousing operations.

These include: box making; goods in/out checks; general stock control; processing returned and reused customer orders; and boxing customer orders for delivery.

You must also maintain excellent standards of quality, food hygiene and health and safety.

You will report into the Warehouse Manager. You will also have other specific areas of responsibility that are outlined in this Job Description and/or that will be assigned to you by your Manager.

**DUTIES**:

- Effectively produce customer order boxes ensuring full adherence to operational processes and company quality standards are achieved
- Meet or exceed company targets for box making numbers
- Goods in/out stock control
- Correctly, carefully, and quickly package products into boxes ready for collection by courier.
- Receive and check goods deliveries, ensuring the correct quality and quantity is received.
- Assist in the putting away of deliveries, clearing space, planning the route, and operating the forklift when necessary.
- Conduct ad hoc cleaning tasks as and when required
- Remove and record wastage when required
- Ensure you follow all aspects of Health, Safety and Food hygiene regulations
- Maintain your personal hygiene -including keeping your PPE clean, wearing hair nets, gloves and washing your hands regularly when in the Kitchen and/or Production areas
- Communicate with Warehouse Manager and other departments to ensure an efficient and proactive working environment.

**WORKING HOURS**:
We are a 24/7 business and as such the role is offered based up on full-time hours (40hrs per week) on a rota basis across these times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
