We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an EHSS Advisor within our EHSS team.

**In a nutshell you will be responsible for**:
Driving the EHSS safety first agenda on site. Carrying out and monitoring routine checks, and maintaining robust auditory control.

As the sites EHSS representative, you will be responsible to ensure you maintain high levels of engagement with the wider site management team and employees to ensure the site works together to deliver a safe and compliant environment.

**What you are already great at**:

- Carrying out regular Critical 15 site audits and collate action points.
- Be the recognised site governance to manage and mitigate risks
- Confident to escalate Serious Risks to ( No 2)
- Work with Preferred Suppliers List ( PSL) of external contractors to complete statutory audits.
- Ensuring all action points from Statutory audits are managed to completion
- Maintaining positive relationship with external service providers.
- Conducting service review meetings.
- Carrying out regular spot check of RAMS.
- Holding and document monthly committee meetings with site committee.
- Ensuring incident investigations are completed to the approved standard.
- Assigning and review the completion of all action points.
- Logging all EHSS activity on OPUS.
- Escalating all training gaps.
- Escalating all serious incidents.
- Ensuring legal operating compliance of the site.
- Driving the site continuous improvement agenda.
- Completing monthly site ESG data.
- Planning and implements programs to train managers and employees in all work site safety practices, fire prevention, correct handling techniques for chemicals, equipment, and other materials.
- Reviewing and amend Induction material identifying continuous improvement and site specific content.
- Ensuring knowledge and compliance of onsite peers.
- Cascade Policy changes to Site Managers and peers.
- Manage the site evacuation procedure.

**For this role we would need you to demonstrate**:

- NEBOSH general certificate
- TechIOSH
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Managed a small team
