**The Company**:
Sylvagen is a fast growing and innovative company operating in the recycling and renewable fuel sectors across the UK and Europe. We process and trade a range of commodities using a variety of logístical solutions, to customers such as power stations and manufacturing facilities.
**What we are looking for**:
We are looking to recruit a hardworking and meticulous individual to offer support within our accounts department.
The position is suited to someone with high experience and/or relative levels of accounting qualifications.
This role could be adapted to fit the right character and skill set, so please send your CV for consideration.
**Your role and responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting the accounts department with data entry, administration, reporting, reconciliation via an in-house system as well as Sage.
- Dealing with any invoicing queries and investigating missing/incorrect invoices.
- Managing the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Maintaining and filing all invoice documentation as required.
- Reconciling customers’ and suppliers’ invoices and statements as required.
- Assisting in making financial and statistical reports.
- Update relevant records for both internal and external purposes.
- Answering calls efficiently including lunchtime cover, holiday, and sickness cover. Taking messages and forwarding them to the relevant person when necessary.
- Any other reasonable duties required for the efficient daily running of the accounts department.
**Experience, qualifications, and expectations**:
You need minimum level 4 AAT Qualification and/or several years experience within a finance department.
Experience with SAGE or similar IT accounts packages
Able to use Excel proficiently using Pivot Tables, formulas and Macros would be beneficial
Driving licence
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
