Can you provide expert advice and insight to support the development of MOT policy and products?

If so, we are looking for a dedicated MOT Product Specialist to join us at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), and we’d love to hear from you.

**Job description**:
As an MOT Product Specialist, you will play a key part in the Service Management Team to ensure that all elements of the service meet customer, stakeholder and DVSA needs. To do this the post holder is required to provide a high level of product knowledge to ensure the product meets a balance of policy and stakeholder requirements.

You will provide support and advice to DVSA staff, our customers, and stakeholders on MOT policies and procedures. You will also play a key role in to developing and integrating new policies and procedures to improve the service.

The role is part of the wider MOT service team but will frequently work in a multi-disciplined scrum team to deliver excellent digital products and operational services for MOT testing.

**Person specification**:
We are looking for someone with the ability to create new and improve existing policies and processes for the administration and enforcement of light vehicle MOT testing.

You will have a sound understanding of the requirements of the MOT testing service, you will be able to provide accurate, effective, and authoritative advice and guidance to support the development of MOT policy and products.

**Additional Information**

The ability to travel is essential.

Limited travel in Europe may be required.

There may be an occasional requirement to work late evenings or weekends to support service improvement activities - you will be paid overtime/granted TOIL to cover this work as agreed.
