**Sales and Marketing Specialist**

John Deere is a leading supplier of agricultural and turf equipment. We are recruiting a Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team at Langar.

**The Role**:
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will be the first point of contact for sales and marketing activities and projects for the UK and Ireland. This is a new role and ideally suited to a graduate, offering the opportunity to upskill with a Sales Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship over an 18-month course, which will enable you to gain practical skills alongside off the job training to enhance your development.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- First point of contact for our dealership network to include regular meetings, creating and reviewing marketing materials.
- Deliver specified outcomes and provide others with expert advice while working within established brand and marketing programmes.
- Collate and analyse data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
- Responsible for gathering and summarising data for reports.
- Assist with the development of internal communications and work collaboratively with colleagues to build strong external customer relationships and meet customer needs.
- Coordinated marketing activities using CRM tools.
- Organising and attending all company events from around the UK and Europe.

- Spend time with Territory Managers, visiting customers and dealers, seeing demos, getting a sense of what this role entails to broaden your knowledge and understanding.
- Be part of a fun, vibrant team based in Nottingham at the Sales & Marketing Branch.
- Support and develop presentations to customers and dealers and other audiences about the John Deere brand and products.
- Positive approach, can do attitude, willingness to get stuck in and give things a try, comfortable with working on your own initiative although rest assured there’ll be plenty of support to help you succeed.
- Organised and able to prioritise own workload.
- Good understanding of Microsoft package.
- GCSE in English and Maths are preferable.
