We know that we wouldn’t be able to deliver expert service to our clients at a time they need it most without our wonderful colleagues across the Group; they’re the drive behind the Groups success. Our People Team are on a journey to transform the way we support Dignity and our people. As part of this transformation, we are looking for a People Partner to support the People Leadership team to deliver the Group People Strategy in line with Dignity’s vision and values.

This role is hybrid flexible working and will require you to be based at our Head Office within Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham at least 2 days per week, with more days the begin with training given for the role.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Partner with leadership teams to identify People priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translate business requirements into effective people practices and deliver people solutions aligned to business objectives that boost productivity and growth.
- Deliver key people initiatives across the People Spectrum and annual calendar of events, including workforce planning, organisation design and structuring, talent acquisition, talent management, pay and review, employee engagement and performance management.
- Develop strategies to improve our colleague work environment where they can thrive, enjoy and grow.
- Work on research and development of policies and support managers and employee relations teams with complex employee relations matters.
- Drive data-led solutions and decision-making through the utilisation of People reporting capability.
- Recommend improvements to existing work practices, processes, and systems to increase People efficiency.

**Your expertise**:

- Working in a commercial organisation delivering people priorities in line with strategic people and business plans.
- Excellent coaching and collaboration skills.
- Current knowledge of employee relation trends, regulations, and legal requirements/employment law.
- Understanding of FCA and CMA regulations.

**You’ll enjoy**:

- Collaborating with a large range of stakeholders to provide input into strategic needs and priorities
- Leading, engaging and developing your team & working collaboratively as part of the wider People team.
- Analysing HR metrics and comparing results to key performance indicators
- Influencing and negotiating to achieve positive outcomes and manage stakeholders successfully.
