**Your role**

As a Senior Dealer, you will be responsible for Fixed Income execution, across all markets; primarily bonds and derivatives as required.

**You will be involved in**:

- Assisting in all dealing functions, across a broad range of products, with a strong focus on High Yield
- Monitoring, verifying, and documenting best execution across all secondary markets, non-exchange traded investments, and post trade verification across dealing done by the dealing team
- Adopting principles of first line of defence and adhering proactively to procedures and controls
- Market analysis to include monitoring and evaluating primary market activity across markets and sectors
- Monitoring and evaluating secondary market spread levels - across markets and sectors and monitoring and evaluating inter market, inter sector and across market single credit spread histories and values
- Supporting all Risk and Control Management functions
- Providing technical and market intelligence-based support to Fund Managers that leads to idea generation and portfolio optimisation, including the use of market feedback and analysis to generate trade ideas
- Maintaining and enhancing relationships with market counterparties
- Providing general support to the Fund Managers and other colleagues within the department
- Supporting systems-based analysis and monitoring of portfolio credit metrics

**You’ll need**:

- Proven Fixed-Income dealing experience
- Experience in trading a broad range of products, with a strong preference for High Yield but also Govts / Macro, EM, IG, Cash and Derivatives
- To be resourceful, demonstrating a strong work ethic and show enterprise
- To be able to demonstrate a calm, pragmatic, and steady demeanour when under pressure
- To have strong data analytics and presentation skills
- To be educated to degree level, or equivalent
- To have a continuous learning mindset, as you will be required to have or attain the IMC / CFA qualification
