**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a temporary Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dedicated team at Lynfield Mount Hospital in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Band 5 RMN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients with mental health conditions. Your main duties will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, administering medication, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.

This position requires you to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, support workers, and external agencies to deliver person-centered care. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting holistic assessments to identify patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Administering medication in line with healthcare policies and procedures
- Monitoring patients' physical and mental health, reporting any changes or concerns to the senior team
- Supporting patients in their recovery journey and promoting independence
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families

**Requirements**:

- Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration
- Prior experience working in a mental health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
