We are seeking an Advance Manufacturing Integration Manager for battery and power pack industrialisation plans. Reporting to the Head of Advanced Operations the role will be instrumental in setting strategic direction for the business and for the systems that run the assembly plants and core competencies, creating centre of excellence for those competencies. The business will focus on modelling & simulation, functional testing systems & processes around welding and dispensing, the manufacturing execution system, controls integration, and manufacturing data management.

**Job role**:

- Definition of the roadmap to create the centre of excellence team for WAE for core process competencies.
- Design and execution of a playbook for systems and integration activities for all sites globally so they can function seamlessly.
- Standardisation of testing systems, welding solutions, controls and dispensing systems that will scale with the organisation.
- Determine specifications for equipment and research proven manufacturing technologies that need to be incorporated in the manufacturing strategy roadmap.
- Work in close conjunction with the advance operations teams in manufacturing engineering quality management and operational excellence design process solutions ensuring they are tried and tested for high volume production environment.
- Optimise the layouts and solutions based on lesson learned for cross functional workshops, minimise redesigns and work out standardisation manufacturing solutions that can be used for a different product variant.

**You’ll have**:

- Bachelors or higher degree in the relevant field of study with extensive relevant leadership experience
- Extensive Knowledge and understanding of battery systems and assembly processes and competencies
- Experience with product development process and launching new manufacturing assembly lines and sites
- 5 + years manufacturing and assembly experience of complex electromechanical products that rely on core manufacturing technologies
- Experience with leading a team of engineers and integrators for custom equipment and assembly line design
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-organized and goal oriented.
- Extensive experience with HV systems safety and production intent manufacturing and testing systems.
- Must have experience in e-mobility industry.
- Understanding of quality assurance process, tools, and methodologies. Understanding of automotive regulations and standards related to the field.
- Extensive experience in working with lithium-ion batteries. Experience with operating battery testers and working knowledge of joining and dispensing solutions and technologies for module assembly.
- Knowledge of battery performance testing standards
- Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia).
