Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Criminal Justice Recovery Connector Manager for a leading Specialist Criminal Justice Drug & Alcohol Recovery Charity Service based in Swadlincote of Derbyshire, who is really passionate about providing a passionate dedicated leadership service.

This role is working full time with standard hours 30 hours per week any 4 days between Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Expenses incurred from on shift work activities will be compensated.

The focus of this recovery connector team is helping the engagement and reintegration of clients in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol into planned and structured community-based support and activities, to attain improved health outcomes, unlock potential and achieve personalised recovery goal. The service will assess, advise and refer offenders, providing them the opportunity to access treatment to address their substance use. Working with courts you will promote the use of Community Sentence Treatment Requirements (Drug Rehabilitations Requirements and Alcohol Treatment _Requirements)_ amongst all court professionals and the judiciary, contributing to Pre-Sentence Reports and advocate for our service users. You will be responsible for coordinating all elements of substance use work including assertive engagement, harm reduction support (including naloxone provision), as well as other associated duties. You need to have an understanding of the issues faced by people who use drugs and alcohol, and who commit crime, and be dedicated to delivering a service that supports these individuals to make positive changes to their behaviour, health and well-being.
