We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR People Advisor to support the People Manager and Head of People and EDI in delivering People Strategy. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all managers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and training on HR policies and processes. This position requires providing expert advice and guidance to both managers and supervisors on various people-related processes, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Collaborating with the People Manager and Head of People and EDI to execute the People Strategy effectively.
- Delivering training on HR policies and processes to new and developing managers.
- Providing HR support, guidance, and advice to managers and supervisors on various people processes, such as investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
- Managing employee relations cases, including conduct, capability, and grievances, through timely and effective resolution.
- Supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings by taking notes and providing guidance when necessary.
- Ensuring robust GDPR processes are in place within the HR team and provide regular learning opportunities.
- Planning and conducting employee inductions to foster a positive onboarding experience.

**What you’ll need to apply**
- Proficiency in HR IT systems, preferably Access and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong knowledge of employment law and experience in managing employee relations cases.
- Extensive generalist HR experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and procedures.
- Good understanding of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and tasks.
- Experience in dealing with Trade Unions is highly desirable.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification is preferred.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship programs, levy, and associated knowledge is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the transport sector is a plus.
