Our animals enjoy visits from our Residents and Students in their free time and as we are overlooking the Safari Park you may even spot a giraffe or 2 Now, how many people can say they go to work and see Giraffes?

Camphill Blair Drummond, part of the wider Camphill Movement with communities all over the world, is a vibrant and unique home from home environment for people with additional support needs. Our Residents and Day Students live and work alongside our employees and volunteers and take part in daily activities where they can develop their skills and interests whilst making lasting friendships. We thrive on living, working, and growing together. You’ll soon discover working at Camphill Blair Drummond that no 2 days are ever the same and you will always leave with a smile on your face.

We are currently looking for Maintenance Volunteers at Camphill Blair Drummond, to bring their knowledge, skills, and experience to our team. You will help us with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our heritage listed, Victorian Mansion House and it’s surrounding buildings, estate and vehicles.

**This role will suit you if you are**:

- Active and enjoy operating as part of a team.
- Practical and enjoy using skills such as carpentry, joinery, plumbing, electrics decorating and handy work etc. (experience is desirable but not needed.)
- Flexible and willing to adapt, learning as you go.
- Able to work under your own initiative and independently where necessary.

**All Camphill Blair Drummond volunteers will be asked to**
- Respect and uphold the Camphill Blair Drummonds values and policies whilst volunteering with us.
- Complete training required of all Camphill Blair Drummond volunteers and any role specific training.
- Adhere to relevant policies and processes including safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

**We want all our volunteers to feel welcome and to have an equally positive experience when volunteering with us. So, volunteers will**:

- Be provided with the necessary induction, training, equipment, and reasonable adjustments to do this role well and safely.
- Be offered expenses to cover agreed travel costs between home and place of volunteering.
- Be welcomed as a member of our vibrant community, invited along to our events and festivals and other social events throughout the year.
