**Assistant Planner - Perth - Full Time Permanent Role**

**Overview of the Role**
- Salary: £24,000
- Holidays: 30 days

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience in Project Planning
- Proven project management background
- Knowledge of construction
- MS Projects knowledge is essential
- Computer Literacy - Excellence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer, Project, Teams and Planner
- A willingness to travel as required throughout Scotland to sites
- Current UK driving licence

**What are the main responsibilities?**
- Develop and define project goals and objectives
- Monitor and analyse project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools
- Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones
- Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems
- Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessments and complete management of the programme
- Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members
- Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results
- Identify changes in work scope in the project plan
- Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams.
- Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management
- Take responsibility for the project risk register, evaluate and analyse with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them
- Lead development of baseline schedule and support contracts manager in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR)
- Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from the contract’s manager
- Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
- Liaise and manage external contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the construction development, issue contract notices and instructions, schedule and perform progress meetings.
- Keep the client team up to date on progress to present to the client
- Present information for internal meetings on the project
- Work with the QS to produce tender plans to support bids

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
