**Field Collections Agent - exciting new opportunity to join our multi-award-winning Credit Services firm, Orbit.**

**Competitive starting salary of £27,417 depending on experience.**

As a** **Field Collections Agent at Orbit Credit Services you will be having conversations with people to support them get back to financial wellbeing. You’ll be field based covering a region across Cambridge.

In this rewarding role we’ll support you to use your expertise and commitment to customer service to helping our customers achieve financial health. Your role will involve you:

- Visiting our customers at their home address supporting them get back on track with the outstanding arrears
- Day to day you can expect to resolve customer’s accounts on a personal basis, taking payments, and setting up repayment plans to help them achieve financial wellbeing
- Educating customers on the potential consequences of non-payment of their account
- We’ll supply you with an iPad so you can update customers’ accounts with visit outcomes, so you need to be IT literate and comfortable using the iPad

To help with the work-life balance, you should be:

- Flexible to work the hours to suit you and your customers
- As you’ll be visiting customers at their property, you’ll need a full drivers licence and your own fully insured vehicle

To be successful in this role and to gain the best outcome for our customers, we’d aim to understand their reasons for falling behind on their payments and then work with them to turn this around. When dealing with our customers, you'll to need to listen, and ask the right questions at the right time to help you to create the ideal solution for them, so you’ll need the following skills:

- Confident verbal communicator
- Good listening and decision making skills
- Proven time management skills
- Comfortable working alone

- Salary from £27,417.52 plus a bonus of up to £6000

- Flexible working patterns, to support your work-life balance. 25% of hours will be worked during our prime operating window between 4pm and 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturday

We’ll make sure you’re fully prepared to speak to customers once you’ve hit the required quality structure
- Ongoing support and development from our in-house team
