Adecco are currently recruiting for
**TWO Senior Procurement Officers** to join a South-London local authority to support the delivery of a strategic procurement service of high value contracts, improving procurement and contract management practices for Housing contracts to deliver sustainable efficiency's in third party spend.

You will:

- Have lead responsibility for specific sub-categories and/or client programmes as directed by the Strategic Procurement Manager
- Deliver innovative, commercially focused procurement plans, including alternative service delivery models, taking lead responsibility across a portfolio of sub-category of spend.
- Design and deliver procurement solutions that provide cashable savings and process efficiencies for the organisation whilst improving outcomes for our residents
- Lead the tender administration process for contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policy and governance
- Provide support to clients with strategic contract management to ensure effective contract compliance.

**Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills**:

- background in Local Authority Housing
- Experience of running high value tenure
- M6 qualification - desirable NOT essential
- Experience of supporting contract management to deliver service improvements and ensure value for money
- Experience of strategy development and service redesign through all stages of the project lifecycle
- EU procurement regulations and best practice related to public procurement, including knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Concessions Contract Regulations 2016
- Key elements of the commissioning and procurement lifecycle
