**Quantity Surveyor**

A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading construction company in Hull on a permanent basis. Salary starting from £45,000 up to £55,000 (depending on experience) + Package

As a Project Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for project estimation and other works pertaining to financial aspect of the projects.

**To be successful in the role Project Quantity Surveyor you will**:

- Prepare and submit cost monitors to Project Delivery Team and monitor site performance on a weekly basis
- Organise, attend and record startup / progress meetings with all Subcontractors and key suppliers ensuring that deliverables conform to the requirements of the Main Contract and specification in conjunction with the relevant Contracts Manager
- Assist the Project Delivery Team in the preparation and valuation of Change Requests for submission to the client in accordance with the Main Contract provisions
- Negotiate Final Account settlement in accordance with company procedures
- Evaluate and report contract commercial performance and financial recovery
- Liaise with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and relevant Contracts Manager at all stages of the contract works
- A commercial qualification, have contract knowledge and be enthusiastic to continuously develop and learn.
- The ability to demonstrate previous experience of working within the construction, infrastructure and civil/building engineering sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to develop close relationships, particularly with the key influencers for the Project
- A well organised and disciplined approach, demonstrating the ability to accurately analyse and report on information gained
- Confidence to work on own initiative with good planning and preparation skills
- NEC Contract Awareness
