An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Training Lead to join our Children and Young People services. The purpose of the role is to develop and standardise the emotional wellbeing and mental health training, groups and workshops delivered by Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) Children & Young People Services, to professionals, children and young people, and families across Lincolnshire. The post holder will need to ensure that any training provided to children is evidence based and suitable for their key stage level and any training delivered to professionals meets the service quality specifications. This includes ensuring the training considers the needs of protected groups. There will be a requirement to deliver training to children and professionals across the county, both virtually and face to face.

Lincolnshire is the fourth largest county in England. The county is predominantly rural but with some built up areas. Approximately 22% of the total population are aged 0-19 years (160,880), of which 75.4% (121,260) are aged 5 to 19 years.

The Training Lead will have close links all our CYP services such as Healthy Minds Lincolnshire (HML), Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

**Please note**: There will be a requirement to travel across Lincolnshire for this role.
- To develop and standardise the emotional wellbeing and mental health training, groups and workshops delivered by Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) Children & Young People Services, to professionals, children and young people and families across Lincolnshire.
- To ensure that any training provided to children is evidence based and suitable for their key stage level.
- To ensure that any training delivered to professionals meets the service quality specifications.
- To ensure that any handouts are standardised and meet quality standards.
- To ensure that any training considers the needs of protected groups.
- To provide training and support to staff across the county to be able to deliver training.
- To deliver training to children and professionals as required.
- The post holder will provide clinical and management supervision to junior members of the multi-disciplinary team as required.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the LPFT Website to support families and professionals

- Create and review evidence based emotional wellbeing and mental health workshops and groups using evidence based interventions and best practice for learning needs of children and young people aged 0-19 (25 if SEND)
- Design and review training packages for education and children’s services professionals
- Proactively plan groups, workshops and training based on previous and predicted service need
- Proactively involve young people and families in service development including using service questionnaires to obtain structured feedback.
- Review feedback from young people, parent/carers and staff to inform development of interventions and training
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the LPFT Website to support families and professionals
- Provide a professional, non-stigmatising service to children and families.
- Ensure best practice by incorporating NICE guidance and meeting healthcare standards.
- Adhere to Trust Policies in consideration of Children in Need and safeguarding issues and in maintaining accurate and effective written records.
